I was lucky enough to catch the two new TV ads from both Obama and McCain camps this morning. As you can guess, one is lying and one is at least accurate. Now, before you write me off as a "fuhkin libral" let me announce I don't fully endorse Obama and I don't think McCain is all that bad (I just wish me had a spine).
Problem with the McCain ad is that is states Franklin Raines, former CEO of the now collapsed Fannie Mae, is advising Obama on Economics. This isn't true. Nothing more to say. It's a lie. The video is below.
Now, the Obama ad states the fact that John McCain has voted to privatize social security and is quoted to be in support of Bush's plan to cut benefits in half among other things that will make social security more of a problem in America. These are facts while McCain's ad WAS speculation and NOW is clearly false.
